WHAT IS LUVFEST?


LUVFEST is an outdoor, annual Food and Fair Emporium Festival that strives to establish a more favorable and reputable impression of southern Dallas, its residents, and the surrounding neighborhoods. The festival provides a platform for entrepreneurs to drive business forward and an opportunity for festival-goers to experience an afternoon of culture, culinary, and community.



WHERE AND WHEN DOES THE FESTIVAL TAKE PLACE?


The festival will be held at the Urban Arts Center at 807 Hutchins Road Dallas, Texas 75203, on Saturday, May 28, 2022. Festival grounds are open from 1pm-5pm.



WHAT IS THE ADMISSION FEE? HOW MUCH WILL PARKING COST?


There is no entry fee for LUVFEST, however, there will be items available for purchase at the festival. Vendors reserve the right to set their own rates for items. Patrons will have access to complimentary valet parking.



BESIDES FOOD AND BEVERAGE, WHAT ELSE CAN I EXPECT AT LUVFEST?


LUVFEST is a food and fair emporium. Thus, a range of small business vendors (i.e. clothing, hair, jewelry, etc.) will be available to purchase from in addition to food. You can also expect live performances from local artists, Art Deco presentations, and lively festival themed entertainment to carry on throughout the day.

HOW ARE TRANSACTIONS FOR THE PURCHASE OF ITEMS MADE DURING THE FESTIVAL?


LUVFEST allows vendors and entrepreneurs to handle the purchase of their items at their own discretion. Cash is accepted, yet we strongly suggest the use of electronic payments such as: Apple Pay, Cash App, PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle.



WILL THERE BE ANY SELLING OR ALLOTMENT OF BEVERAGES CONTAINING ALCOHOL, EVEN IF IT IS JUST SPIKED SELTZER IN A CAN?


LUVFEST is a kid-friendly/family themed event, therefore, no alcohol will be served or allowed at the festival- it is strictly prohibited and it will be enforced by security.



WHAT ARE LUVFEST'S GUIDELINES TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS?


LUVFEST follows and mirrors the restrictions the CDC advertises as well as local mandates within the state of Texas. Therefore, mask requirements are strongly suggested as well as patrons' discernment to the rationalization of personal space.
